Refund Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

This policy explains how refunds work for our advisory services. Your engagement letter contains the specific fee terms for your engagement and controls if there is any conflict.

Initial consultations

Introductory calls and meetings to discuss a potential engagement are free.

Cancellation before work begins

If you cancel within 5 business days of signing an engagement letter and before we have started substantive work, any fee you paid is refunded in full.

Engagement fees

Engagement fees compensate us for preparation work such as financial recasting, valuation analysis, and drafting marketing materials. If an engagement ends before that work is complete, we refund the portion that corresponds to work not yet performed, based on the milestones in your engagement letter. We'll show the calculation in writing.

Fixed-fee valuation and planning work

Search retainers

Buy-side search retainers cover work performed during each period and are not refundable once that period has begun. You may end the search with notice as described in your engagement letter to stop future retainers.

Success fees

Success fees are earned and payable only when a transaction closes. If a closing is unwound because of an error on our part, we'll work with you on an appropriate refund.

Third-party costs

Costs you approved and that were paid to third parties (for example, data room subscriptions) are non-refundable unless the provider refunds them to us, in which case we pass the refund to you.

Billing errors

Tell us within 60 days of an invoice if you believe it's incorrect. Confirmed overcharges are refunded or credited within 10 business days.

How to request a refund

Email support@nxtacquisitions.us or call (305) 447-8213 with your name, engagement, and the reason for your request. We acknowledge within 1 business day and respond in writing within 10 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or by check within 10 business days of approval.

Disputes

If you disagree with our decision, see the dispute resolution section of our Terms of Service.
